A portrait does not always need to be on one subject; no, in fact a portrait can have many. Dorothea Lange is one photographer that captures many photographs, particularly during the Great Depression, so you may find most of her brilliant photographs black and white to really convey the hard times the people had to go through. In this particular photograph, there is no sense of depression, for the subjects are smiling and there is color throughout the photograph. |
